Participants can still privately request that the meeting host enable live transcription during the session using the meeting toolbar. If you are a single user within a multi-account, please work with your account admin to enable this functionality via the web portal for all users. How to enable auto-generated captionsĪuto-generated captions automatically provide speaker subtitles on a Zoom video meeting or webinar. This feature, which provides automatic captioning during a Zoom video call, is also available for paid Zoom Meetings and Zoom Webinars accounts. Host and attendees can also search the transcript by entering text into the Search transcript field at the top of the window.We are pleased to announce that auto-generated captions (also known as live transcription) are now available on all free Zoom Meetings accounts. The transcript will appear in a side-panel Transcript window, and the full transcript to that point may be saved by clicking Save Transcript.The transcript will appear as video subtitles at the bottom of the video frame.These options allow attendees to view and adjust the transcriptions. Live Subtitles in Zoom provides an instant access to the spoken word by means of real-time, speech-to-text conversion.People who are deaf, hard of hearing people can have access to talks and lectures in conferences, events, and in a wide range of other settings.
